Together Community Guidelines
Last Updated: October 14, 2026
1. Welcome
You are not alone. In Together, you can ask one question about the IVF experience and choose a helper who has been through it.
2. What Together is for
- One short, non-medical question, on a topic from a set list.
Together is peer support, not medical care. Together is for adults only, 18 and older. It is currently open to invited members. Helpers are unpaid volunteers who have been through IVF. Free Plus during the beta is not payment for helping.
3. What we do not allow
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. These lead to removal from Together without a warning step:
- Sexual content involving or targeting minors, grooming or enticement.
- Threats, stalking or harassment.
- Encouraging self-harm or suicide, or sharing methods.
- Selling, trading, giving away or asking for prescription medication.
- Trying to move a member off Together.
- Pretending to be a clinician, a clinic or another person.
- Advertising or recruiting.
- Hate speech or slurs.
- Sexually explicit content. Talking about sex, fertility or your body as part of treatment is fine.
We ask for a change if an item includes contact details, links or handles.
We also ask for a change or decline an item that gives medical advice, such as a dose paired with an instruction. Your care team knows your situation.
We also ask for a change if an answer recommends a protocol, criticises a clinic, or uses pressure phrases that tell someone how to feel.
4. How review works
A person on our team reads every question, answer, follow-up and reply before the other member can see it. An automatic screen, a word and pattern list that does not use AI, labels items so the reviewer can see them. It never sends anything on its own. An approved question is shown to the invited helpers who opted into its topic. An answer, follow-up or reply goes to the other person in that exchange.
The reviewer approves, declines or holds an item, or asks for a change and tells you the reason. You rewrite your own words. We never edit them or suggest wording.
5. Reporting and blocking
- Report any item sent to you in an exchange and choose a reason. The reasons cover threats, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, spam or scams, impersonation, unsafe medical advice, selling or swapping medication, and contact details or requests. They also cover sexual content involving a child, encouraging self-harm or suicide, worry about the person, feeling worse, and anything else. The item is hidden from you at once. A report of sexual content involving a child or encouraging self-harm or suicide goes to the top of our review queue, and alerts our safety team. A report of sexual content involving a child also hides the item from everyone at once, including its writer, and we preserve it. Any other report hides the item only from you. A person on our team, never an automated system, decides on any report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We act on every report within 24 hours, every day, weekends and holidays included. We record who sends a report. The member you report is never told who reported them.
- Block a member. This ends the exchange and stops any future offers between you. We do not tell them. You can undo it from your blocked list.
- Close an exchange whenever you like, without giving a reason.
You can also email safety@trackmyivf.com, or go to Profile > Settings > Help and support in the app.
6. If someone seems to be in danger
If you are worried about someone, including yourself, you are not overreacting. Help is there, and reaching out is a strong step.
- In the US, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any hour.
- Together is not for emergencies. If anyone may be in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services.
- Anyone in an exchange can report with the reason "I'm worried about this person". It goes to the top of our review queue.
If you write about a hard moment, crisis words never stop you sending, and we never decline an item because of them. If an item includes crisis words, it is held, and you see a crisis line. While it is held, nobody else sees it. A person on our team reads it first. Only after that can it go through ordinary review. You are never told off for what you wrote.
7. When the rules are broken
We may decline an item, ask for a change, suspend you, or remove you from Together. After an item is declined, there may be a short wait before you can send another. Some things lead to removal at once, as listed in section 3. A suspension or removal carries over to a new sign-up with the same email. A suspension or removal takes effect in Together at once, and we also sign you out of the app where we can.
To appeal, email safety@trackmyivf.com with "Together appeal" in the subject. We reply with the outcome within 7 days.
