Privacy and Data Security FAQ
How TrackMyIVF stores your health data, the privacy controls available to you, and what we do and do not currently claim about regulatory compliance.
Is TrackMyIVF HIPAA compliant?
No. TrackMyIVF is not a HIPAA-covered entity and we do not currently make HIPAA compliance claims. We implement strong privacy practices including encryption for data in transit and limited collection of personal information. Specific framework certifications are not yet in place. If your provider needs a Business Associate Agreement, contact support before sharing any clinic-protected information.
Who can see my health data?
Your health data is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable sync, backup, AI, diagnostics, or partner-sharing features, the relevant data may pass through the processors described in our privacy policy. We do not sell health data or use it for advertising targeting.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request complete data deletion at any time through the app settings or by contacting support. We will permanently delete all your personal and health data within 30 days of request.
Is my data used for advertising?
We do not sell health data or use it for advertising targeting. Our model is based on access to TrackMyIVF features, not health-data monetization.
What happens if TrackMyIVF shuts down?
We would provide at least 90 days notice and a full data export option. Your data would be permanently deleted from our servers after the wind-down period.
Does TrackMyIVF share data with my clinic?
Not automatically. You control what, if anything, you share with your healthcare providers. Any data sharing requires your explicit consent and action.
How is my data protected?
Your data lives on your device by default. If you turn on Cloud Backup or Partner Sync, relevant data passes through our servers using TLS for data in transit. Specific encryption-algorithm claims are intentionally not made on this page until independent verification is in place.
Can my partner see my data?
Partner sharing is opt-in. If enabled, you choose what is shared and can revoke access from the available controls.
