Law Enforcement Requests

1. Who we are

TrackMyIVF is an app for people going through IVF. It includes Together, where a member can ask one short question and choose one trained helper to answer. This page is for authorized officials. Members who need help can use Report in the app or write to safety@trackmyivf.com. Together is not for emergencies. If you are in danger, call 911 or your local emergency services. In the US, you can call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any hour.

2. What data we may have

  • Most health records a member enters are kept on their phone, not on our servers.
  • If a member started Cloud Backup, an encrypted copy is on our servers. It is encrypted on their phone, and we do not hold the key.
  • Account data, such as the sign-in email, is on our servers.
  • If a member used Together, their Together items, display name, age-confirmation method and time, guidelines version, consents, reports, blocks and any helper profile details are on our servers.
  • Much of this is deleted on set schedules. Declined, withdrawn and "needs a change" Together items are deleted by a daily cleanup once 30 days have passed since the decision. A legal hold, a pending report or an open crisis case keeps an item until it ends. Delivered items are kept until both people have removed them, or until the writer's account is permanently deleted. If a report against an item is upheld, it is deleted 30 days later, unless a legal hold applies. When a member's account is permanently deleted, their Together items and profile are deleted, except items under a legal hold.
  • Some records hold no text. A block stays while it is in place, and a report stays with the item it is about. After a member deletes their account, report and block records about them, which hold no text, are kept for 1 year. Safety alerts sent to our team hold no text. We delete our record of each one 1 year after it is sent. We keep the moderation log for 3 years. We keep suspension and removal records until we lift them.

We cannot provide data we do not hold or data that has been deleted.

3. How to send a request

Email safety@trackmyivf.com with the subject "Law enforcement request". Send it from an official government domain and attach the legal process. Please include your name, agency and title, the account email you are asking about, and the dates and records you want.

4. Preservation requests

On a valid preservation request, we preserve the records for 90 days. You can renew the request once, for 90 more days.

5. Emergency requests

If someone is in imminent danger of death or serious injury, email safety@trackmyivf.com with the subject "Emergency request". Say what the danger is and what you need. This inbox is not a substitute for emergency services. In danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the US, you can also call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any hour.

6. Child safety

Our reviewers report apparent child sexual exploitation using the CyberTipline of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as soon as reasonably possible, as the law requires.

7. Notice to members

We generally tell the member before we disclose their data. We do not when a valid non-disclosure order or an emergency involving imminent harm prevents it. This does not apply to reports we make to NCMEC.

8. More information

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle Together data.
