The inner lining of the uterus that thickens each menstrual cycle in preparation for potential embryo implantation.
In IVF Treatment
Endometrial thickness and pattern are closely monitored before transfer. A trilaminar (triple layer) pattern of at least 7-8 mm is typically required. The endometrium must be receptive at exactly the right time for implantation.
